What you might want to know

Clean your menstrual cup properly

Before the first use & after your period:

please disinfect your cup. To do this, boil the cup for 5 – 10 minutes . You don't have to do this during your period, it's enough if you always do it at the end. If you don't need your menstrual cup at the moment, it's best to store it in an air-permeable container or in the bag that was included with delivery - never in a plastic or plastic container that is inaccessible to air. If you always care for and clean your cup well, it will be your reliable period companion for the next 10 years!

Insert menstrual cup

Always wash your hands before touching your menstrual cup.

Before each use, check whether your cup is in perfect condition. If there are any minor defects, please replace the cup with a new one.

The best way to insert the cup is while squatting or while sitting on the toilet. To do this, the cup must be folded.

Now insert your menstrual cup into the vagina with the folded side first.

It just shouldn't be too close to the vaginal opening, otherwise you'll be able to feel the cup while sitting and this can be uncomfortable. After inserting the cup, use your fingers to run along the cup. This is how you can determine whether the cup has fully unfolded. You can wear it at night without any problem, but for a maximum of 10 hours at a time

Remove menstrual cup

Grab the bottom of the cup with your thumb and forefinger and squeeze. This will release the vacuum and you can carefully remove the cup.

Important: be sure to release the vacuum first, don't just pull on the handle!

Then you can remove the cup and empty the contents into the toilet. Before you put the cup back in, you should clean the cup if you have the opportunity. To do this, rinse it out with water (even a small drinking bottle with a little water is enough every now and then if you have no other option?

Clean panties properly

Before you put on your beautiful new menstrual panties, please wash them once. Then you can put them on.

After wearing your panties, wash them under cold water to prevent the blood from clotting. If you don't put them in the washing machine right away, either store them in a wet bag or let them dry and then wash them with your other clothes.

Don't panic: the blood won't stain your clothes.

Usually 40 degrees is enough. Please do not use fabric softener, otherwise the suction power may be impaired

Clean reusable menstrual pads

Before you use your beautiful new cloth pad, please wash it once. You can then use them.

After wearing your cloth pad, wash it under cold water to prevent blood from clotting. If you don't put them in the washing machine right away, either store them in a wet bag or let them dry and then wash them with your other clothes.

Don't panic : the blood won't stain your clothes.

You can wash your cloth pads at 60 degrees. Please do not use fabric softener, otherwise the suction power may be impaired
